LGBTQ Housing First Program
DIAL/SELF’s Housing First program aims to get LGBTQ homeless youth into stable housing as a first priority. The second priority is providing the support needed to maintain that housing. With stable housing, youth are better prepared to access other services and to achieve short and long term goals.
Housing options for this program can include public or privately subsidized apartments, roommate matching and other appropriate options when available.
Program Eligibility Requirements
· Must self-identify as LGBTQ
· Must be 18-24 years old
· Must be living, or willing to live, in Franklin or Hampshire Counties

"This program saved my life! For the first time in my life I've felt like the ground isn't going to be moving out from underneath my feet. It's been an immensely overwhelming feeling and having the supportive people around me to help me get paperwork and stuff taken care of isn't something I've ever had in my life, even with family."
